  • Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA)
  • BA (Hons) English and American Literature

Biography:

I have taught English language and English for Academic Purposes for over 10 years in the UK, Vietnam and Spain.

I joined Solent University Pathway in June 2023 as an EAP lecturer and Applied Academic Skills Module Leader.

In terms of my teaching approach, I believe in a communicative, student-centred approach that scaffolds learning and caters to the individual needs of learners.

My professional interests lie in dealing with emergent language, guided-discovery and task-based learning.

I am passionate about creating teaching materials that support and develop independent study skills, helping students become autonomous learners.
