Our Academic Community of Excellence (ACE) Team, has years of experience providing academic guidance to our students and helping them achieve excellence in their course by developing skills. The ACE Team can support you in the following ways:
One-to-one Appointments
You can book a virtual or face to face 30-minute appointment to discuss:
- your academic development
- navigating your virtual learning environment (VLE)
- accessing online resources
Online Workshops
Workshops are held on a variety of academic subjects, study skills, computing and data analysis with Excel. Sessions are held on campus and online.
Each workshop is interactive: first they explain an academic skill and demonstrate how to improve on it. Then you will have the opportunity to practise what you are learning through activities. The workshops are approximately 45 to 60 minutes long and are open to all students. You do not need to prepare anything in advance.
