Students at Solent University have access to a variety of specialist support services. As international students, you’re bound to have some questions, and we make sure that there are teams available to best support your queries – you’ll find that help is always on hand at Solent University.

The International Advice Team

First and foremost, you will find The International Advice team within the University’s Student Hub. They’re there to support you throughout your studies and to help you get the most out of student life.

They can provide information, guidance and advice on a variety of issues including visas and immigration, life in the UK, as well as employment and careers. They are also available to help you if you have any questions prior to arriving in the UK.

Student Hub

This is a central space where you can access all of the guidance and support you may need during your time studying at Solent University. Here you will find most of our specialist support services and teams. The Student Hub is the first point of contact should you have any questions relating to your programme, timetable, assessments and extenuating circumstances. Here you can also be provided with the following official documents:

  • To whom it may concern letters
  • Replacement campus cards
  • References
  • Bank letters
  • Policy advice

You will find the Student Hub in the Student Village in The Spark, TS114. Feel free to contact the Student Hub on student.hub@solent.ac.uk during your studies, if you’re in need of some support.
