COURSE OVERVIEW

Looking to improve your English language to meet the demands of a UK degree or Masters programme?

The Pre-Sessional English programme has been designed as a gateway for students to study our variety of courses at Solent University. The programme aims to help students improve the English language whilst also preparing them to meet the needs of a UK degree and Masters programme.

Students will develop their English language skills throughout the course, enabling them to fully communicate and engage during the learning and assessment process, as well as being able to interact with fellow learners.

Alongside the development of English language skills, students will spend their time developing their practical study skills, including their ability to listen effectively in lectures, take notes, use academic resources and undertake academic research. The ability to meet deadlines will also develop.
